Is it time for the church in America to walk up and take a stand?

Every day as we see the news headlines, we see the morality in America decreasing and the immorality increasing. In the meantime, does it seem we do not hear the voice of the church, which has stood for Godly righteousness and moral, societal values for over 200 years?

The Church in America is being eroded. Is it time that the churches grow closer together with a Kingdom mentality and then take a stand in public, on billboards state righteousness, in social media, on the radio, and on the internet. I am not referring to make America a Christian country, but Jesus strong states in Matthew 5:13-16:
"You are the salt of the earth, but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men. "You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven."
 
Has the salt of the church in America become good for nothing, as Jesus said? Is there no longer a light in our society. Maybe it's time to get out the salt shakers and the high beam spotlights. Let us draw a line in the sand against immorality and get out into the community one way or another and tell immorality no more!
